Took our newly licensed daughters car to Steve on recommendation of a friend. It needed $5000 in repairs (CV joint, Timing Chain, etc.) and were told "I can do it for $3000 and you don't have to do the timing chain, just the timing pulley). We were hoping to make the car last a few more years as new(er) cars are so expensive. Well, 1 week later (after paying him $3000) car making loud knocking noises while my 16 year old new driver is driving it on the highway. Call Steve and he tells us it needs a computer reset. Get car towed to HomeTown. Several days later, no calls, so we called to find out the cars status. Steve says "you are the worst customer I've ever had" ... So, we tow the car to the dealer. Guess what.... engine blown... guess why, the timing chain went (the thing he told us we didn't need to do). Steve is "great" until there is a problem. Then he will scream and yell and be verbally abusive, then make some comment about how much money he has. If he has so much money, he should have offered to refund our $3000 in "repairs". I'm sure he will clap back with something snarky, blaming us for his lack of knowledge. Don't bring you car here for anything beyond basic repairs.

These guys are so good. They actually FIX things, not just blindly replace parts like so many auto "service" places. Great to deal with, wonderful service, and VERY fair pricing! I highly recommend!

Always honest. Thorough in their work. Reasonably priced. Best waiting area in the continental USA. Conversation runs the gamut. It can be fun there, if you pay attention. Highly recommend them for great service and wisdom.

Today I was an hour away from home with my 8 month old when my wheels started making a horrible screeching sound. I was frantically and freaking out when I pulled into Hometown Tire, the nearest garage on Google. I was met by the owner at the front desk with a comforting smile. He had his team of mechanics stop what they were doing to check out my car immediately, no call ahead or appointment for me. Within ten minutes they had resolved the issue and sent me on my way. It was an easy fix for them that I would have paid hundreds of dollars if necessary and the owner refused payment because it was so easy for them. I can't begin to express how grateful I am so have been treated so wonderfully by an honest auto repair garage. I will be returning to this business for all my future needs.

I have been a client of hometown for 8 years and my folks even longer. They've always treated us so well, fair prices, short repair times, honesty and integrity; however, they just lost a decade of loyalty to one incredibly unprofessional phone call. On September 20th 2024, I brought my 2007 Honda Fit to Steve to take a look at some service lights and a funny noise. He fully diagnosed it on the spot, told me I needed to bring it back for a new transmission and new brakes and that he'd call some parts companies and get back to me with an estimate. He never contacted me again. A few nights ago, 12/2/24, my engine started billowing smoke late in the evening and I emergently had my car towed to hometown after hours, thinking that as a loyal customer with a car they’ve seen recently, they may be able to get me in. Instead, I got a phone call from Steve telling me that they have never and will never work on Honda Fits, my car is blocking the plows (there is no snow) and that I need to bring it elsewhere. I asked for a recommendation, and he told me that no one will work on a Honda fit and he won't send me to one of his friends. I brought up the diagnostics he did, and he told me that wh
